
Lomond View Nursery Tree and Shrub Warranty
Effective Date: March 1 2025
At Lomond View Nursery, we take pride in providing high-quality trees and shrubs to enhance your landscape. Our Tree and Shrub Warranty is designed to give you peace of mind with your purchase.
Warranty Coverage
Full Warranty (Days 1–60):
We offer a 100% replacement warranty for the first 60 days from the date of purchase, provided the tree or shrub is properly planted and cared for. See Warranty Conditions
Limited Warranty (Day 61 through October 1st):
From day 61 until the end of the growing season (October 1st) of the same year, we offer a 50% replacement credit on eligible plants that fail to survive. This applies only to the original growing season (March 1st – October 1st).
Late Season Purchases:
Trees and shrubs purchased after September 1st are not eligible for warranty coverage, as they fall outside the viable timeframe for the 60-day full warranty to be honored within the current growing season.
Warranty Conditions
To qualify for warranty coverage:
Plants must be installed in the ground within 48 hours of purchase.
Plants must be planted in appropriate soil, with proper drainage and exposure. Plants must be watered regularly and not left to dry out or become waterlogged. The original receipt must be presented for any warranty claim.
ExclusionsThis warranty does not cover:
Annuals, perennials, houseplants, tropicals, unestablished plants. Trees or shrubs planted in containers. Plants sold on clearance or at a discount.
Damage due to neglect, overwatering, underwatering, mechanical damage, animal activity vandalism, or extreme weather conditions (e.g., drought, flood, freeze).
Plants that fail due to improper planting or care (e.g., incorrect depth, planting in unsuitable conditions).
Transplanted trees or shrubs, or those moved after the initial planting.
Commercial or wholesale purchases (unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement).
Claim Process
To file a claim:

Provide a photo of the plant in its current condition.
Bring the original receipt and plant (if possible) to the nursery for inspection.
If approved, a one-time replacement plant of the same variety and size (or equivalent value, if unavailable) will be provided.
Note: Labor, delivery, and installation services are not covered under this warranty.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Selecting the appropriate plant for their location.
Following all planting and care guidelines provided by Lomond View Nursery.
Inspecting the plant at the time of purchase for any signs of stress or disease.
Limitations
This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Lomond View Nursery reserves the right to deny warranty claims that do not meet the conditions stated above. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, express or implied.
